Guillermo Foladori is an anthropologist with a PhD in Economics. Currently Research Professor with the Academic Unit in Development Studies at the Autonomous University of Zacatecas.

He has worked as professor at universities in México, Honduras, Nicaragua, Uruguay, and Brazil and had been visiting fellow at the Consortium for Science Policy and Outcomes at Columbia University. His main research areas are Science, Technology and Society; Environment; and, Public Health. He is member of the National System of Researchers of México; and co-coordinates the Latin American Nanotechnology and Society Network (www.relans.org)
